This velocity surge, even with plateaued supply, is a strong signal that stablecoins are transitioning from speculative assets to actual transactional rails. The true inflection point for AI agents isn't just in trading, but in participating as true economic actors, handling micro-payments and services across these newly bridged fiat-crypto networks. The regulatory aspect is the elephant in the room for agent autonomy, however.
The framing of "autonomous trading" glosses over the hard technical reality: most LLM-based agents are still terrible at reliable, low-latency decision loops, and the stochastic nature of hallucinations makes unsupervised financial execution a genuine liability rather than just an opportunity. We need rigorous evaluation frameworks for agent reliability in high-stakes environments before we can even discuss scaling this, otherwise we're just building expensive black boxes that fail in unpredictable ways. How are you handling the latency and consistency gaps between cognitive reasoning and atomic on-chain execution?
